Research Use & Compliance
Veras compounds are intended exclusively for qualified researchers, laboratory professionals, and institutional scientists. All purchasers must be affiliated with a laboratory, academic institution, or research organization and must be 21 years of age or older.
No. The statements made within this website have not been evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration. These products are not approved drugs, dietary supplements, or medical devices. They are classified as Research Use Only (RUO) in accordance with 21 CFR 809.10(c)(2)(i).
No. These products are strictly not for human or animal consumption. They are not for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purposes. Any use outside of laboratory research is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Research Use Only (RUO) is a regulatory classification indicating that a product is intended solely for laboratory research and analytical purposes. RUO products are not intended for clinical investigations, diagnostic applications, or any form of human or veterinary use.
Orders & Shipping
Orders may be placed by individuals who are 21 years of age or older and affiliated with a laboratory, academic institution, or research organization. Purchasers must agree to our Research Use Only terms at checkout.
Every shipment includes the ordered compound(s) in tamper-evident, RUO-labeled packaging, along with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) or a digital link to the relevant COA.
Due to the nature of research compounds, all sales are final. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact support@verasbio.com within 48 hours of receipt.
Documentation & Testing
All Veras compounds undergo rigorous testing via HPLC and mass spectrometry (MS) to confirm identity and purity. Additionally, every batch is tested for endotoxins (LAL assay), heavy metals (ICP-MS), and sterility (USP <71>).
Certificates of Analysis are available on our COAs page for all catalog items. COAs are also included with every shipment. For pre-purchase documentation requests, contact support@verasbio.com.
Our compounds are supplied at research-grade purity levels, typically ≥98.5% as verified by HPLC. Specific purity values for each compound and lot are documented in the corresponding Certificate of Analysis.
